ABOUT ME
Currently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Notre Dame. I am working with Prof. Gregory Timp on the project to study 3D arrays in an optical tweezers Trap.

Before joining the University of Notre Dame, I was working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of Clemson University under the supervision of Dr. Joshua Alper, Dr. Kimberly Paul, and Dr. Lukasz Kozubowski. I was working on projects to study the biophysics of Trypanosome motility and septin formation.

I have done my Ph.D. at the Department of Physics or Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, under the guidance of Prof Vasant Natarajan. My Doctoral work was to study malaria-infected red blood cells (RBC).

RESEARCH INTERESTS
-
Biophysics of trypanosomes motility
Motility is an important aspect of trypanosomes' survival. I in this project we are trying to study the biophysical aspects of trypanosomes motility and how it gets affected.
-
Biophysical role of septin formation
Septin plays a crucial role in the cell division of yeast. In this project, we are studying the physics of septin formation.
